Who are we?

Abide Church is a new community of believers who are passionate about giving ourselves to Jesus and his mission. We value simple gatherings, spiritual depth, community, and obedience to God’s Word.

Where do we meet?

As of right now, we are meeting Sunday evenings at 4 pm on the soccer field at posse grounds park. We will update on social media if there are any location changes!

What about kids?

We value family and believe strongly in family discipleship. We believe it is best to keep children with their families during worship so that they can experience the presence of God together. Knowing this, we are picking meeting places with our kids in mind, whether it is the library or the park we want to give space for parents to feel comfortable with their children. Noises from kids are not a problem, but an exciting sign of a growing family! There may be times of separate instruction for kids by a volunteer or times when we simply stay together as a community. The main thing we want you to know is that your children are blessings and not burdens to this community of believers!

What is a gathering like?

Our Bible studies and meetings are meant to be simple and Biblical. We are people who are passionately in love with Jesus. He is the reason we gather, not a special speaker, or a particular worship leader. Jesus is the most important person at our gatherings. When we meet you can expect a time of worship together, Bible teaching, prayer, and communion.

Are there opportunities to serve?

At Abide church we want everyone to contribute what God has gifted them with for the common good of the Body. We value practical obedience and love for others. We will have regular opportunities to serve in the community and care for those in need. We are also passionate about developing leaders so we are always looking to raise up the next disciplemaker.

Volunteer with Verde Villages: Make a Difference in Our Community

Our church is excited to partner with Verde Villages, a non-profit organization that provides 100% free baby, kids, and maternity items to families in the community. Verde Villages helps parents by offering essential items like clothing, baby gear, and toys at no cost, making it easier for them to care for their little ones.

We invite you to join us in supporting this incredible cause! Whether it’s sorting donations, assisting with pick-ups, or helping organize events, your time and efforts will directly benefit local families. Every volunteer hour counts, and your involvement will help strengthen our community and support parents in need.
