Who are we?

Abide Church is a new community of believers who are passionate about giving ourselves to Jesus and his mission. We value simple gatherings, spiritual depth, community, and obedience to God’s Word.

Where do we meet?

We gather in the cafeteria/ multi purpose room at West Sedona Elementary School.

What about kids?

The Garden is the children’s ministry of Abide Church a joyful, safe, and faith-filled space where kids can grow in their relationship with Jesus. Just like a garden is a place where things are planted, nurtured, and flourish, The Garden is where we plant seeds of truth in young hearts and watch God help them grow.

Each week, children experience engaging Bible teaching, meaningful worship, hands-on activities, and authentic community tailored to their age and stage of development. Our caring and background-checked volunteers are passionate about helping kids feel known, loved, and confident in who God created them to be.

At The Garden, we partner with families to build strong spiritual foundations that last a lifetime. We believe every child is created with purpose, and we’re honored to walk alongside them as they discover God’s love and learn to abide in Him.

What is a gathering like?

Our Bible studies and meetings are meant to be simple and Biblical. We are people who are passionately in love with Jesus. He is the reason we gather, not a special speaker, or a particular worship leader. Jesus is the most important person at our gatherings. When we meet you can expect a time of worship together, Bible teaching, prayer, and communion.

Are there opportunities to serve?

At Abide church we want everyone to contribute what God has gifted them with for the common good of the Body. We value practical obedience and love for others. We will have regular opportunities to serve in the community and care for those in need. We are also passionate about developing leaders so we are always looking to raise up the next disciplemaker.

Volunteer with Verde Villages: Make a Difference in Our Community

Our church is excited to partner with Verde Villages, a non-profit organization that provides 100% free baby, kids, and maternity items to families in the community. Verde Villages helps parents by offering essential items like clothing, baby gear, and toys at no cost, making it easier for them to care for their little ones.

We invite you to join us in supporting this incredible cause! Whether it’s sorting donations, assisting with pick-ups, or helping organize events, your time and efforts will directly benefit local families. Every volunteer hour counts, and your involvement will help strengthen our community and support parents in need.
